  • it's in the way the blog owner interacts with the blog, which isn't exactly how a web site owner interacts with his site although some can be somewhat similar. A blog usually has a button that says "post" or something similar. So the owner will write something and then "post" it or "publish" it. A bit like a diary. Websites seldom have that. Also, readers of the blog usually will be able to "comment" the post. Sites that have that function usually are trying to look like blogs! lol. A blog is an online diary, mainly designed to publish daily posts from its owner, a site isn't. (although it could be)
