What is the difference between "Blog Sites" and "Web Sites" for posting our writings and photos?

it's in the way the blog owner interacts with the blog, which isn't exactly how a web site owner interacts with his site although some can be somewhat similar. A blog usually has a button that says "post" or something similar. So the owner will write something and then "post" it or "publish" it. A bit like a diary. Websites seldom have that. Also, readers of the blog usually will be able to "comment" the post. Sites that have that function usually are trying to look like blogs! lol. A blog is an online diary, mainly designed to publish daily posts from its owner, a site isn't. (although it could be)
