Encourage him to get an AB account.

Why not spend the nine days doing something with him? Chances are, he doesn't get nine days off in a row often. So why not make the most of it? Rekindle a bit, go on a day-long date for a pic-nick or to a movie. Treat him - take him out to dinner, run him a bath, be romantic, keep the lurrrve alive. I;m not saying you don't see him enough or spend enough time with him (how the hell would I know), it just seems the perfect opportunity to escape from the hussle and bustle of life with your gorgeous husband.

Buy him a model car/plane/boat to build. with all the paint-glue-ect it should be under 40 bucks. Set him up on a card table with a radio to listen to.
-
Casually bring up the subject of painting: rooms, house, etc. You probably won't be bothered for a while. LOL!
-
Give him a long Honey do list ..:)
-
If you trim it, there'll be nothing for him to stay out of. Or, you could send him out to buy these. That could take a while;)
-
get him a puzzle with 1000 pieces.

A bird house for swallows? One of those shadow cut outs? I once saw a house that had an exact replica of the big house and it was in a flower bed. It was big enough to not be tacky yet small enough to not be tacky. Christmas cut outs? I like the bird house or feeder thingy idea. More fun.

Send him fishing!
-
First, where you been beautiful? Second, give him a Hooters certificate

Better shave your head...just kidding. Got any cars that need fixing? Lawn need mowing? Grocery Shopping? External windows need washing? Does he golf? Any movies he's been wanting to see (that you don't)? Grandkids need a babysitter? Have him plan a menu of different meals for each day, and then shop, prepare and cook them for you :) If all else fails, wear him out early in the morning and he'll be glad to stay in bed recuperating the rest of the day!

I guess it all depends on what he likes to do, i don't know him but if he likes to read you could buy him a nice book or you could spend some time together i mean you can do something he wants to do one day and he can do something you like the next i think the possibilities are endless, enjoy the 9 days with your husband :) i wish i could help more though.

Does he have an addictive personality? You could introduce him to AB...lol

Answerbag is pretty sweet, free, and could be very time consuming.

You may need a variety of things for him to do if he's off for 9 days. But since one of those days should be your anniversary, that should sort of take care of itself. So, for the other 8 days, he (or you both) could... 1. watch sports on TV (too bad it's not football season) 2. go to the beach (that could knock out an entire day) 3. invite friends over and play board games (or socialize...or poker night...I realize that he could lose money but he might win some money too) 4. rent a DVD of a show or movie that he (or you both) have been wanting to see (Other ideas here sound good too...I was just trying to think of things that weren't listed when I started typing)

I would have him do stuff around the house. Let him know (or make a list of) what you need done (gardening, build/put up a shelf, paint, mow grass, any work on cars, etc.) and he can choose what he wants to do. Men usually like puttering around the house, no?
-
Ask all neighbors when they need a babysitter.
-
introduce him to a hot prostitute/-
-
Give him a cookbook, flitter your eyelids and smile, then tell him you've been waiting all of your life for for the meals--show him pages 9-35.
-
Ask him to pick a few things up at the store (in Texas yo...).
-
Public Library?
-
find a project for him to do that will benefit you both, how about some new shelves somewhere?
-
STICK HIM IN FRONT THE TUBE, THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH.
