I take a paring knife and make one long slit in the skin end to end and then start pulling the skin of whole. If it is underripe, I may have to peel it in severalong strips. Sometimes I will just eat it straight off the pit, but usually I will take knife and cut the pulp off the pit in long slices. That's it! Nothing else added.
