  • The question is somewhat flawed as there is evidence that Paul never wrote the pastoral Epistles attributed to him, among which resides the Epistles to Titus (the pseudoepistles being Ephesians, Colossians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, and Titus). Thus Titus never actually received an epistle from Paul, or if he did then it has been lost, as the Epistle of Titus which appears in the Bible was not actually written by Paul, but by an anonymous Christian after 80 C.E. (more than 20 years after Paul of Tarsus died). The Epistles which everyone agrees were written by Paul are Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Philippians, 1 Thessalonians, and Philemon.
