Grind up cookies of different kinds, use nuts alone or in combo with grahms or cookies. Pressed coconut works too.

Oreo cookie crumbs

They have a crust that is made out of the Nilla cookies:) It's great in a banana cheesecake..yum!

Choose your favorite cookie (something other than a melty-type of chocolate) and combine it in a bowl with butter or margarine. Crush it up and make into a crust. Voila! ('Nilla wafers or Oreos work very, very well... a mixture of coconut and 'Nilla wafers is also very delicious!)

Take banana nut cake(no frosting) and squish it up into a ball, then form a crust and chill/fill, it will work! Also you can use potato chips, pretzels, Animal Crackers, brownie mix, bread crumbs with melted butter, crushed nut mixture, any crushed cookie/fig/date bar and even biscuit batter...

You could use vanilla wafers or gingersnaps..I don't like graham cracker crusts because the flavor is too strong. But my favorite is a ground walnut/sugar/butter crust..it is simply heavenly. You could use ground almonds, or ground pecans, or even ground peanuts depending upon the type of cheesecake. The flavor is a lovely supplement to the cheesecake. If I eat anything with a graham cracker crust, I always leave the crust. I love graham crackers with milk separately, though..I'm not anti-graham crackers! :)

Teddy grahams work and you can choose from all the different flavors. The honey one is excellent.

Use ginger snaps instead of graham crackers for a spicier crust or for cakes like pumpkin. Use chocolate wafers instead of graham crackers for a chocolate, white chocolate, or certain fruit-flavored or topped cheesecakes like raspberry, cherry, or orange. Anything that's dry, crispy and can be made into crumbs can be made into crust. All you need is a plastic bag and a rolling pin to turn it into crumbs.Like shortbread cookies. You can also use brownie crusts.Just make up your favorite brownie batter and pour about a 1/4-inch layer into the bottom of your cake pan and Bake till 80% done. and allow to cool.Fold 1/2-inch cubes of brownies into a plain cheesecake batter, and pour into your pan. Bake as normal. The cheesecake batter will actually insulate the brownie pieces and keep them from cooking anymore. However, the batter won't protect the crust, which still needs just a little more cooking. It will finish baking at about the same time as the cheesecake, and add a nice chewiness to each bite. I got this brownie idea from the net and its wonderful.
