Kombucha question: I'm making Kombucha tea. I was interested in selling the baby SCOBYs (a new one is made with each new batch) to a local organic food store. How much should I ask for the baby kombucha with starter tea and instructions?

You can buy kombucha starter kits on ebay for $6. http://search.ebay.com.au/kefir-grains_W0QQfromZR40 At Rainbow Grocery in San Francisco -- hand crafted minimum 30 day ferment pure kombucha tea sells for about $25/litre. Seems to me you could price it somewhere in that range.

My mother's friends are kombucha crazy... and I've been looking for a culture for myself. In their circles, they didn't sell it. It was passed around like Amish Friendship Bread.
