Yes, unless it's offered to you to choose what you want to listen to, it's the driver who controls the radio. His car, his rules... ;-)

The same person who controls EVERYTHING in my world (husband). Sometimes I get to (rarely). But sometimes it's really not as bad as it sounds. Other times, I just feel like I'm gonna lose it. It's not something I would necessarily leave over, but I would like a little room to breathe.
