I sure hope so. After all I'm a Conservative who doesn't always agree with what they do, but that doesn't make me a tree hugging hippie.

Most certainly. I know many people who disagree with my political beliefs. I don't think less of them for it. On the contrary, I think I get blasted more because I am a Republican than you get blasted for not being one.

If you disagree with me, I probably won't think you are a godless communist Al-Queda sympathizer but if you are a Democrat I'll probably assume that you are a lazy person, who wants to be baby sat by his government, at the expense of the under paid but hard working middle class of this country.

I'm not a Republican, I am a Conservative. These days there is a huge difference. I don't assume anything, that is a basic principle for a Conservative, each person should be judged on their character and actions, not on labels.
