Yes one is good and one is evil they will live like we do we have good and we have evil.

without both there would really be no religion or reason to believe in anything. We fear god for our mistakes and we fear for those mistakes we would end up with the devil for eternity. So we must beleive it is possible for coexistance

Since you are talking about the God of the bible... then... No, and Revelations prophesies about an armageddon where Lucifer (Satan) is thrown out of heaven and there is a great battle between him and his army and the angel Michael and his army.
