Well... since you have basically forced me to type upside down, I might as well ask how I am supposed to judge how well I know the back of my hand? List characteristics? haha. I guess, apparently, I know the back of my hand like I know the neighborhood I live in: "I know this place like the back of my hand"... it could work in reverse, right? Okay, so I figured it out... I think.

I tested it just now and apparently I dont know the back of my hand very well. The back of my hand was disappointed.

Wow! Great point. I guess people generally know the back of their hand reasonably well simply because we see it so often. However perhaps we don't take that much notice.

ok, i shall tell you about my left hand. It has five prodominate veins, really short nails, and four thin scars running the length. There is a silver wooden braclet just above it, and a silver ring on the second finger in. My fingers are average length, but incredibl skinny like the rest of me. So... pretty well!

There is absolutely nothing distinctive about the back of either of my hands that I can really describe to you. Other than they look like average hands, they're pale pink, average size, I don't wear rings and they have sort of medium length nails which currently have no polish on them. If you count wrists as part of hands I have a small black watch around my right one.

I agree with davoomac. I don't know the back of my hands at all and I am trying not to cheat LOL. I do know that there is a rather large vein running through the back though.

Going with the left,(which seems to be a pattern here) I have a rather average hand, with a plain white-gold wedding band on the ring finger. There is a Seiko 5 watch in brushed stainless steel with a white face where the hand joins the wrist, and a small round burn scar about two inches above the thumb joint from metal shop in seventh grade. My fingernails are short and surprisingly clean for me. There is a small callous or rub-mark where the stem from my watch pokes me in the back of the hand. (All of the above from memory) After peeking, I noticed that there is an area from under my watch that has no tan, making me look a lot paler on the arms, and I have no visible hair on the back of my hand except for a very small area straight up from my thumb near my wrist. Below is a picture provided so you can check the accuracy of my memory and observation skills.

I have two scars on the back of my hand from biking. My hands are also pretty big, but nothing too distinctive about them.
