  • My mother did. She reckoned some improvement - worth the bother of wearing the bracelet - but nothing brilliant.
  • --yes and didn't notice any difference at all--
  • I have tried it and a magnetic bracelet also. I think it may make a small improvement. But, what really helped is a 1/2 teaspoon of liquid cod liver oil mixed in orange juice at least 3 times a week, daily is better. If I forget for awhile, I notice it. It doesn't taste great but it works.
  • Millions of people, young and old bought and still buy copper bracelets, thinking it will help or cure their arthritis. I read an article 1-2 years ago in one of the many medical journals (one that is very open to alternative medicine) I get and someone actually did a study on this. The bottom line was the people who wore the bracelets had a SLIGHT improvement in symptoms, but nothing dramatic, and the standard deviation for the test was within the same range as the improvement (5%-7% or so) so given no more people reporting significant help, remission or improvements, it was generally considered to have a placebo effect. "Feeling better" is also a VERY subjective way to measure things. Personally if I had the choice, I would prefer to listen to a meditation tape, guided imagery tape, or other relaxation tape that could help boost my auto immune system and reduce inflamation, and not risk the chance of having green marks from oxidized copper on my wrists.
