We "punked" our daughter a few years back. She wanted a new bike for her birthday and it was a few days before and my hubby (her step-dad) was leaving on a business trip and wouldn't be there for the big day, so we decided to give her the bike early while he was still home. Her chore that day was to clean the kitchen, and she did a damn good job. My husband yelled for her from her room saying she didn't finish the kitchen. She was storming down the hallway yelling about how she KNEW she did a good job and finished the whole thing....really angry. Then she turned the corner into the kitchen and saw her bike. The look on her face was priceless!
