A few random hits... Still wondering why someone would downrate me for answering a "which leaderboard are you on the first page" question truthfully. :-/ But nothing major.

I was downrated 4 points yesterday for asking if it was cheating if you watched scary horror movies during the day.

I just saw a whole bunch of mass downrating new questions in the crafts section. Some new people probably won't stay long with that type of greeting.

I'd be hard pressed to remember a downrate that WAS valid..they all seem to be for goofy things like an opinion on a favorite city or some such nonsense.

I think DR's are all unreasonable. No valid reason that I can understand. If a question/answer needs to be removed because it is objectionable, just flag it. If you don't like the question, ignore it. No justification for DR's except maybe it gives people a sense of power over others. Just my opinion, of course..I've never DR'd anyone! :)

Yes & it pissed me off & puzzled me at the same time. I don't down rate I just ignore the question unless its highly offensive but most ABers more mature then that so most of the offensive questions get removed quick so they don't get down rated but I usually go upping questions not really into down rating.

It happens all the time. I have a computer question, that's been posted a while. It's unanswered and has been gaining points, then the other day, it got DR'ed. It's not a question that compares or brags about anything. Oh well.

Somebody that I absolutely adore. But I don't want to name names and create any type of tension or hostility. I'll say what I always say: focus on the good and the positive and try to stay away from the rest.
