At times 1994 Astro van runs rough like it isn't firing on all cylinders. Have to keep foot on the gas to keep it running. Sometimes it won't start at all. If i try it again in a day or two it starts and runs fine. Could it be the fuel pump?

It could be the fuel pump. It also could be the Dist. cap and rotor as well. Or a bad coil wire.

I had a 94 Astro and the EGR valve would stick every 6 months or so. Try running a can of Seafoam through the gas, that usually cleared it up for me.
