  • No we know that dinosaurs walked the earth and that Adam and Eve never existed, we believe in evolution!
  • Yes, if pressed, they will say they did, though they are hard pressed to say how Eden could have supported such monstrous critters, eating all the fruits and vegetation. And they were certainly left out of Noah's little 'Ark'. Creationists are not to be taken seriously. And the idea of "demanding" that 'Creation Science' be taught in the public schools is too ridiculous to discuss. Anyone whose religious faith demands such a fairy tale is not very spiritual. I am a Christian and a student of science. Evolution IS creation. God is infinite and timeless. "In the beginning God began creating the heavens...and the earth." He has not ceased to create. He never will cease. This changes nothing of the Christian message or faith.
  • I've actually heard of a few preacher-types who have said that dinosaur bones were planted by Satan to deceive people into believing in evolution.
  • I knew this guy who was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. He told me that Noah lived around dinosaurs and that his Ark was big enough to carry and to house them for the duration of the flood..... Can you hold an intelligent conversation with that kind of guy? No...just smile and be polite...
  • I can't speak for all "creationists" (unlike some people seem to be able to)..but I do not believe they did. God created the animals first and who knows how much time actually constituted a "day"? I don't think most of the Bible is to be taken literally, but it more in the form of stories which tended to capture the interest of the reader a bit better than it would if it were written "textbook" style, and in a way the reader could better understand and relate to. I believe in the Bible..for the most part, I believe in creation, I believe in dinosaurs and I believe in evolution. I believe that believing one does not automatically negate the existance of the other. You will note that I used the terms *I believe* and *I think*. I am only speaking for myself.
  • It is a possibility. Can you prove they did not?
  • The ones that I know believe this. They seem to think that Adam was like Fred Flintstone.
  • Thank god I'm no creationist but I can prove your statement with this picture of Jesus riding a dinosaur which I took myself while on vacation
  • You might want to look this site over it may give you a good explination to your answer: http://www.bible.ca/tracks/dino-fossils.htm
  • "One of my sons came to me when he was about 4 years old and said, " If dinosaurs lived before man, how did man know dinosaurs lived". Now you dont think a 4 year old could think so abstractly and it stunned me a bit. If your childs question was simular to this, you can say.. truthfully, That dinosaurs did not exist before mankind. We know this because death did not enter in until after the fall. So, if death didnt happen until after Adam sinned, then the dinosaurs would never have died out. They had to die after the fall and after the existence of mankind." TameVine, bibleforums.org [Comments (34)] [2006-Feb-27] http://www.fstdt.com/fundies/comments.aspx?q=9842
