How do people get close enough to get the scent out of skunks?

They have a bag inside of them....if you get too close it will scare them and they will turn around and spray you. You don't want that to happen.....it takes a lot to get it off! I accidently ran over one and it took forever for my car to be the same again!

If you're talking about pet skunks, they have the gland removed as babies before they learn how to use it.
