I'm addicted to cigarettes. I hate them and I cannot stop. Never start. I got addicted because I wanted to fit in and now I regret it, a lot of money spent.

Thank goodness no, but I have watched it in others. Sometimes it happens innocently with them being prescribed pain medication and then needing more to alleviate the pain and thus the abuse begins.

I was on pain pills after a surgery and my friend told me that "it's fun to take extra pills".

I just hated myself that much. Fantasy is better than reality. The problem is...reality is always there, there's no escaping it. Even after you 'come down'. Problems are still there.

Yes, They were prescribed to me.

To put it simply I was bored and had access to some heavy narcotics...I have been clean almost three years but sometimes it is still a slight bit difficult.
