Valets are great, especially if you want to feel a bit more VIP. I like valet parking mostly for business. My business partner used to be a valet back in the day. He wrote a blog post about how valets can be helpful to you: http://powerlunchdvd.com/blog/2008/12/23/getting-vip-treatment-from-the-valet-part-1-of-2/ I won't reiterate the entire post here, but the three main points are that valets: - can make you look good - are a wealth of information - are well connected In a second post, Mark covers some things you can do if you want to get in good with them: - tip well and tip early - treat them like people - compliment them - buy them a meal - ask for what you want - solicit ideas from them There's more detail on the post, but hopefully this helps.

Every day valet service at work. YES I trust them when I hand them a single key (keeping the keys to my homes with me at all times).
