Cats, like humans also suffer old age. Some cats become senile, lose their eyesight, even their hearing. You should check with your vet.

I'm thinking it might be eyesight, but like Koz said it could be other things, make a vet appt!

Take her to a vet to see what he says. She might be going blind.

There can be a lot of things wrong with a cat that age-I've had them live to be 20. Do you take it to a vet regularly? If not, get to a good one-preferably an animal hospital or clinic, not just a spay/neuter shop.

she has great eyesight and only just recently acts this way.. she is overweight but has been her whole life. i do treat her like my baby so i'm not sure what to do. she is my life. i have a kidney disease and she is always there for me. laying on my chest all day.. playing with me.. she loves me so much and i would be devestated if anything ever happen to her.. it isnt'all the time just recently. i spend every waking moment with her and i know to some i may sound silly but i miss her even if i'm gone like an hour.. she isn't always confused or lost just recently i thought maybe she was a bit senile, the minute she see's me she is okay.. she sleeps with me alnight and is just the whole of my life.. i appreciate the ansewers thank you.. i hate taking her to the vet just because yes she has been overweight her whole life but it never changes and she has always been well. most days she is completely fine but others she seems just a bit confused, she is an indoor cat and sadly i love her more then my own life..
