None of the Canadians I know do hate Americans. People from many countries hate our current political leaders, and hate our policies, but that is to be expected when the leaders of a nation behave like arrogant imbeciles with poor diction.

I've heard negative comments towards US from quebecoise only. 12 years in BC and Ontario - never heard anything like that. Seems like French folks aren't into any foreigners much)))).

None of the Canadians I have met have expressed hatred toward Americans in general. In fact, Canadians seem to be more tolerant than most Americans.

They tend to copy American culture, so I don't think so.

I don't get that impression from them. I know some Canadians and they don't seem to hate Americans.

The few Canadians I have met HATE Americans. But those few people don't speak for their entire country. I'm sure that not all Canadians hate America.

Some of them, definitely. It seems to be a big part of the Liberal party platform (our foreign policy? Gimme a sec. What are the *#$% Americans saying? Yes? Thanks. Our foreign policy is NO). The CBC (public broadcasting networks) has an anti-American bias. And, of course, Quebeccers, who hate you because you're not French. Don't feel bad about that one. They hate the rest of the country for the same reason. But surprisingly (given the earlier part of the answer), most Canadians are willing to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. We prefer to hate one a*****e at a time, and we have plenty at home to bother ourselves over.

They hate George Bush, they look down on Americans who think THEY know Hockey, and they pity people who prefer Budweiser to Molsen's, but no, they do not typically hate Americans.

Aren't Canadians also Americans? If your asking if they hate US citizens and the USA, I'm sure there are some who do. I haven't met a Canadian who said they hated the USA. I have been to Edmonton and I was treated very well.

Canadians are Americans. I don't know why the world puts only US citzens as Americans. Its like only refering to the people in China as Asians. The Canadians I met are very freindly. When I said I was going to visit PEI, (the most prettiest island in North Ameriaca) they where also suprise I knew about that island. But I won't judge all Canadians on that expermence. US and Candia have a good freindship in my veiw. We live right next to each other and have simular belifs, and customs.

Not that I'm aware of. I used to go fishing in Ontario a lot and I never got any sort of feeling of hatred from anyone there.
