If you are a woman in your 20's looking for a guy to date, would you be put off if a 27 year old male had a big pot belly like a 45 year old?

My hubby's got a pot belly. Granted, I put it there. He actually had abs when we started dating... then I started cooking. I married him anyway ^_^

pot belly at 27 means HUGE pot belly at 45....gotta take growth/slowing metabolism into consideration for however long physique will be important to you.

Well I am not in my 20's anymore but looking back when I was I was not the type to go for looks a good heart goes a long way. Unfortunatly there are women who want a very good looking guy with a six pack. My 18 year old daughter is like that she only wants a guy with a six pack of course she is only 18 though.

physical attraction may be a bit more important at that age, so i might suggest a guy with that physique visit the gym a few times :) might help in the dating game.

is it a pot belly, or a beer belly, or a gut full of visceral fat? what does it matter as long as you have your own apt and dont live with your mother. you have your own car. and you have steady income. a nice smile, good teeth are important. and good hygiene...clean clothes and shower and brush regularly. your gut might make hugs a laughable matter. I have a such a gut and hugs are a laughable matter. a sense of humor helps...no mental issues. drug free is a plus. and a background check in your files. OH, I am not a woman.
