  • There are several ways to work your abs. The first is and most obvious is a basic crunch. Lay on the ground and place your feet hip hip distance apart with the hands lightly behind the head. Exhale and lift the shoulders off the floor and inhale as your release downward. Try variations of foot placement and repititions. Start with 3 sets of 12 and increase from there. A 2nd exercise to work the upper arms and the abs at the same time is a plank movement. Plank is an isometric movement that works the shoulders, upper back and core. Try plank for 3 sets of 30 seconds at a time.
  • Google some yoga posistions..there are alot of postures that work your core. The downward dog is great for arms. The plank and side plank are also great for obliques and the core.
