Yes. Completely and utterly changed. I'm still reeling from it...years later.

I TOOK A FALL ON A BUS IN SEATTLE I FOUND MYSELF IN THE HOSPITAL, AND THEN A NURSING HOME FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS. OFF WORK AND LOST MY HOME IN A 5 SEC ACCIDENT.

i got the dna test results back showing that my wife's month old baby was not mine. the same day, 1000 miles away, my mom had fatal stroke. (she didn't know). it was the end of my marriage, i moved out. i lost my wife, my child, my home and my mom. on the upside both my ex-wife and her child are healthy, remarkable considering she's a 40 year old type 1 diabetic. my mom lived long, lived well and went easy at 82, believing she had a grandchild. i was tired of living in alabama anyway, and i moved back to new orleans. i'll tell you this, when the ride is the roughest, put on your hat and boots, and give them your best cowboy show.

My whole life has changed in just one MINUTE...the blink of an eye...several times.

Where to start the list. The big one of course: Walking across the street after work to get to my car, someone didn't stop at the red light and ran me down in the street. happened 1.5 years ago...I still go to physical therapy, traction therapy, massage therapy, ultrasound heat therapy, and swim therapy 2x a week and am to the point that I can finally walk again. Hopefully in a couple more years I'll be able to play some slow sports. Then when and if I'm physically capable of having kids and they are older I might even be able to rough house with them...on the plus side, the lawsuit that is in the works will see to it that those kids won't have to worry.
