The Prodigal Son. In some ways, the Prodigal represents all of us. A wonderful story of forgiveness, atonement, and redemption through love. http://www.centeringprayer.com/kingdom/kingdom03.htm

hm.. I've been told several times that I look like Jesus, but I would never want to wear a sheet as a dress, so I don't feel I can relate much to HIM. I dunno.. Perhaps that poor little chimaera (not the fish) that Noah excluded from the party which lead to its death by drowning.

Eve:(

Zaccheus, the miserable, sinning tax collector. Zaccheus clung to the top of the tree to get a look at Jesus when he came by. Jesus stopped, looked up and called him by name. I am a miserable sinner, and now I know HE knows my name too.

probably Jebus or Me

It's a lose call between... David... with his expressions in music and song of so many thoughts. Mary of the story with Martha. I'm SO not a kitchen gal, and so many women seem to dislike me for it. I mean, I cook and all, but I've always been a Mary at heart.

I am the beast that lurks in the dark. I have a million names but the bible only lists 33 of these. I speak every tongue ever spoken. I am the perverter of free-will. In my footsteps whores of babylon spring forth. I am the father of lies, the great red dragon, the serpent, and the angel of the bottomless pit. I have watched and played your people since the beginning of mortal man when I convinced frail Eve to gorge upon the forbidden fruit. I am..................GEORGE BUSH JR.! Oh seriously? Id say Michael but Im not too much into the bible :).

Soloman. Man would I love to get jaded with life by trying feasting, several hundred wives and concubines, adventuring, building an empire, being a bit smart with the judgements and working out what to do with unimaginable wealth...
-

There are individual traits in the various characters that you feel you identify yourself with like in Abraham even as a boy he did not follow blindly (see 1 below) He used reason and process of elimination to get to God (2) and Jesus when despite all his efforts to do good was badly misunderstood (3) 1 – “Behold! he (young Abraham) said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?" They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers." HQ 21:52-54 2 – “When the night covered him (young Abraham) over, he saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, he said: "I love not those that set." When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, he said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray." When he saw the sun rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord; this is the greatest (of all)." But when the sun set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from your (guilt) of ascribing partners to God. "For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall I ascribe partners to God."” HQ 6: 76-79 3 – “Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?” John 10:31-32

Jesus (PBUH). My intentions are good, but am heavily misunderstood and rejected by the majority (but accepted by a wise minority). Though I think that is a significant number of Biblical prophets/messengers.
-
Ruth , is one of my favorites...
-
The behemoth, I am a Mastodon after all.
-
I used to feel like Job. Now I feel more like Saul on the road to Damascus.
-
as i said Ruth and Naomi is a favorite . a beautiful love story and of devotion.. but i RELATE alot to Jeremiah and Jesus in their Lamenting over Jerusalem...weeping over their turning their backs on the Almighty as is happening today.... God chose Israel (the Jews) for the purpose of having a peoples to KEEP HIS NAME REMEMBERED until the Saviour came and HE would be KNOWN TO ALL...and HE is... now alot of the whole world is removing God....but it is as the Word said it would be.....I Trust In The Lord....

I most relate to Geoff, the 13th Apostle, who was always being sent off to get pizza. It meant he wasn't around whenever anything interesting happened. Geoff is best remembered for oversleeping and missing the reincarnation. Nah, the life and times of those in the Bible are too far removed from my own. While human nature remains the same, I don't feel I universally relate to people based on just one thing.

I wish I could say Ruth, and I do have Ruth's loyalty ... I love that love story, but I know I act like a Jezebel too sometimes, God forgive me, I work on it though....
