I think that is a tricky question because if we aren't talking about their beliefs, scriptures ect they how do we know their mormons? My boss is mormons and i am not. He is a good person but i get bothered some times because he will be on the phone swearin but a storm then 5 minutes later talk about going to the temple. I just find it funny i am not temple worthy because i smoke, but he can go after he swears and talks bad about ppl. Some times i just don't understand them. Also i think they are a little pushy and get defensive if they can not answer a question about their beliefs. Some seem to think they are better them non mormons too. but there again it is about their beliefs.

The young men that I have spoken to at my home are all very polite, kind and well mannered. I admire them for their zeal and volunteer spirit.

I do not have an opinion of Mormons themselves. I try to form my opinons of individuals, not of groups. I only know one Mormon, and went to college with him. He was a good friend of mine. He was nice. (We lost contact about a year ago.) I have no idea about other Mormons.

I was once a Mormon long ago, and although I know some of them are exceptionally nice people, I also know others are quite the opposite, even hypocritical. I now never take a Mormon at face value. I also pity Mormons a little. They used to make such bold claims, but these claims have been proven to be false (or at least, unlikely in the extreme). They must suffer from massive cognitive dissonance as a result, but it's a bed of their own making. @Rottweiler: Claims like Native Americans are descendents of ancient Israelis.

I spent six years living in Salt Lake City, UT, where everyone I knew outside my little Catholic school was Mormon. I found Mormons to be like most any other community in that they're all individual personalities. Some were rigid and exclusive, sometimes alientating non-Mormons but on the whole they were the kindest, most generous and even-keeled people I've ever known.
