Food. I see no point in hunting for sport.
Food only. I can see why some ppl will call it a sport because it really is quite hard to do, it takes a lot of training and practice to be able to track and kill something without being seen or heard and doing it as humanely as possible.
We only do it for the food, we grow our garden and raise our own meat so now we are pretty organic. It is a lot healthier for us. I like knowing where my food has been and when you go to the store or restaurant I can guarantee you I don't know where it has been, but it was not treated respectfully.
I tend to hunt for food - inside the pantry. I've ventured as far as the third shelf, but I'm too scared to go right to the back. Not without a helmet and a spatula, at least.
i have only hunted mosquitoes and flys, the first for survival the second for food preservation!
the only hunting i condone in, is hunting for survival, and hunting to control overpopulation, other than that i hate the idea of hunting, killing innocent animals for no good reason.
I hunt for poon tang
I hunt for food, inthat I hunt for bargains at the market.
both
I used to hunt wild deers with my shot gun. I usually got more than one ,strictly for food.
It's not a sport at all. We do it for food. It is not a sport to kill something for food. It's a serious thing and needs to be done with respect and seriousness.
I dont see the point in killing something if you cant eat it.
I do my hunting and gathering in the grocery store. I hunt for sport at night when I am bar hopping and meeting young does and fawns.
Food.
i dont hunt.
I hunt for food ... If I'm not going to eat it, I don't kill it !!
i only hunt for food.....in the grocery store
food cause it is tasty plus i live 50 miles from a grocery storec
while I am hunting I am doing it for the sport. just the fat is that I can do this right here right now. but once I get a deer I emidiatly skin it and freeze it to eat. so assentually I like the fight of the sport but I like the food part
food,sport bores me now
I have never hunted for a sport...are they hard to catch?
I do all my hunting at the grocery store! My sister and her family hunt and I think it's a combination of both. They like the sport, but they always use the meat for food too.
both. i hunt to feed my family, and i will hold out for the "big boy" every time.
i hunt for food. i'll admit that i've hunted as a sport, like who can catch the most fish. but all the fish were eaten that night too. if i ever do hunt as a sport, it's going to be used for food as well
Both...getting the food is the sport.
I hunt moose, deer, elk, antelope and upland game birds like grouse for food.
The only thing I hunt any more is varmits,I have a good friend that is a farmer and I shoot ground hogs for him.It makes me feel good to help someone out like that.
I hunt ONLY for food! I cannot see killing any animal for no reason.
I don't hunt. I shop, and not well!
Sport -- The feeling is awesome... :-)
Nope.
I hunt for justice!
I used to hunt for food, but now I am a city girl and there are no places for me to hunt here in Reno.
I have only fished both for sport and food, I release what I don't intend to eat, No "trophy" fishing for me. I would like an opportunity to try bird hunting especially pheasant or quail, but again I like to eat both of those birds. Grouse hunting might be enjoyable but I don't really like grouse so I do foresee myself doing it.
Food and sport.
tho i hardly hunt. food, its good to store up and eat later. but sometimes its fun just to sit around and wait to shoot somthing and eat it later.
it seems more fun than just going to spend money for it lol.
Sport, well fishing not hunting. I always release.
G'day Wanbli,
Thank you for your question,
Neither. In the unlikely event that I would go hunting, it would be for food.
Regards
neverrr!lol...would never harm a lil
innocent fuzzy creature, unless totally
starving and have no choice in order to
save my life...but even then would
wait lil (:
Both at times! There's nothing wrong with it, so PETA should just shut up.

When hunting what game is a 30-cartridge magazine useful? Is a deer with 30 bullets in it even edible? Who digs out the bullets?

Just because someone can't see something only tells us about his blindness. Argument from ignorance is illogical. Religious fanatics do it, and PETA is a sort of religion.
