Food. I see no point in hunting for sport.

Food only. I can see why some ppl will call it a sport because it really is quite hard to do, it takes a lot of training and practice to be able to track and kill something without being seen or heard and doing it as humanely as possible.

We only do it for the food, we grow our garden and raise our own meat so now we are pretty organic. It is a lot healthier for us. I like knowing where my food has been and when you go to the store or restaurant I can guarantee you I don't know where it has been, but it was not treated respectfully.

  • I tend to hunt for food - inside the pantry. I've ventured as far as the third shelf, but I'm too scared to go right to the back. Not without a helmet and a spatula, at least.

the only hunting i condone in, is hunting for survival, and hunting to control overpopulation, other than that i hate the idea of hunting, killing innocent animals for no good reason.

It's not a sport at all. We do it for food. It is not a sport to kill something for food. It's a serious thing and needs to be done with respect and seriousness.

I do my hunting and gathering in the grocery store. I hunt for sport at night when I am bar hopping and meeting young does and fawns.

I do all my hunting at the grocery store! My sister and her family hunt and I think it's a combination of both. They like the sport, but they always use the meat for food too.

i hunt for food. i'll admit that i've hunted as a sport, like who can catch the most fish. but all the fish were eaten that night too. if i ever do hunt as a sport, it's going to be used for food as well

I have only fished both for sport and food, I release what I don't intend to eat, No "trophy" fishing for me. I would like an opportunity to try bird hunting especially pheasant or quail, but again I like to eat both of those birds. Grouse hunting might be enjoyable but I don't really like grouse so I do foresee myself doing it.

    Food and sport.

tho i hardly hunt. food, its good to store up and eat later. but sometimes its fun just to sit around and wait to shoot somthing and eat it later.

it seems more fun than just going to spend money for it lol.

    G'day Wanbli,

    Thank you for your question,

Neither. In the unlikely event that I would go hunting, it would be for food.

    Regards

Both at times! There's nothing wrong with it, so PETA should just shut up.
