What do you pack when you go on a trip to just visit someone?

I always have a bag ready to go with toiletries and travel essentials so I can literally be ready for a trip in a matter of minutes depending on length of time gone and weather/circumstances of my travel.

I always pack to much stuff. It weighs a ton and we don't wear half of it, I'll never learn. I also bring my own pillow, everywhere.

Well my mom isnt just someone but when I go to visit her I pack very light because I know that I will be able to use her washer and dryer. I HATE packing for a trip. I use her hair dryer, shampoo, deodorant. I usually only take a plastic grocery sack when I go visit her LOL.

I only bring 2 blouses, 1 jeans, 2 walking shorts and undies,and my small gadgets and just buy a handy soap at a nearby 24-hour minigrocery. I also use their shampoo as my shampoo is in a big bottle and it'll just spill in my big purse.
