  • Yup, me and my back. If you perceive it as an altered way to feel, it gives you the sense that it's under control. I don't know if I have a high pain threshhold or I adjust but it's better than being in a constant panic and/or dosing myself into oblivion.
  • Yes. I have that kind of pain in my upper back. The most medication does is reduce it to a dull ache.
  • There have been brief periods in my life when I had to adjust to chronic discomfort. If I'm in pain I tend to rail against it and do what I can to alleviate it. These episodes have not lasted long, thankfully..I know there are pain clinics that teach one to cope by visualizing things and being hooked up to a machine that gives biofeedback..I don't know if those are effective but I know I'd try everything. I don't like taking pills and I get very anxious if I have to take things like codeine or stronger stuff that can have bad side effects and to which one can become addicted! :)
  • Yes, but it dosen't make it any less painful for me tho.
  • Yes, I get severe chronic chest pains every time I run fast so now I just walk slow and it's not so bad!
  • Sinus pain
  • Yes,lower back pain. It's more like a pain in the ass type friend though ;)
