Sometimes. Other times I just want to be left alone and allow myself to feel bitter and cynical towards the entire world. In most cases, the best tonic is to allow yourself the ability to express your feelings, even if you're alone. Crying helps, sometimes breaking stuff helps, sometimes writing or painting or writing a terrible song or poem helps. I also tend to turn to my friends and family, because I know they'll allow me to sort of "think out loud" about my feelings even if they can't help.

No, not really, but given the circumstances, it may help. I wouldn't go out of my way to be nice to someone else under premeditated, FALSE pretenses. This will in turn, more than likely create a pretentious relationship between you and the person you are projecting your niceness too and as harmlessly as you intent to squelch your emotions by repressing your own self needs, you are draining the very stock of positive emotions from yourself that you will need to get ourself back up. Please note, I am not certified nor professionally trained in any psycological field. I don't even have a descent education. Thank you, drive thru......

No, when i am not happy i have a hard time making someone else happy. But, try hard to take it out on anyone else too. I hide in my shell until i feel better.

not really...when i feel down, the best tonic for my emotions is just to put myself around people...when i have people's presence, it automatically makes me a little happier, and then being with them doing things takes my mind off of what's making me feel down

always, whether your down or not. did you know that to keep your emotions in check your supposed to give a compliment to someone every 15 seconds.
