Summer is my favorite season! (If you want a great song for a summer soundtrack, check out "Saints" by the Breeders... It is exactly how I feel about summertime). During the summer there is no school (for now... I may be taking some summer courses) I go on my annual backpacking trips in the Rockies. The festivals (Creek Fest, Ren Fest, International Fest, Gaelic Fest...) Laying in the sun all day and reading. Swimming... Staying up all night... and the night is actually warm... which leads to night hikes, night picnics... An awesome lineup of concerts over the next few months... Taking a break and going to visit my Mom. Driving through the mountains, road-tripping Summer romances ^_^ This summer I get to move into my new apartment <3 The only bad part is that this summer I have 3 jobs and less time... and my friends are only here for a little while (we all go to colleges in different states) And um, sunburns =P

BAD KIDS HOME NO SCHOOL :( Good kIDS ARE HOME :) AND FOOTBALL SEASON IS JUST A FEW MONTHS AWAY I COACH LINEBACKERS AND IT ALL STARTS IN JULY :)))+ I am going to Florida to see my momma&dad whom I have not seen in years :)

Good....beautiful flowers...that's it. Bad.....Heat, humidity, kids playing till all hours of the night, poison ivy, lawn needs mowed every week, bugs,bees,etc.

Good is the wildlife that comes visiting here in the woods, swimming, gardening and flowers, local produce, BLUEBERRIES!!! playing outside. Bad is heat, humidity, no snow LOL!!!

I love everyday of summer, I love it. I am terrified of the thunder storms we've had the last few years here. They are terrible. We even had a tornato, unheard of here, really. That's all I don't like about summer!!!!
