I just got a ipod shuffle for mother's day and it is way smarter than i am. I am not computer literate so this is not easy for me. I am trying to download my own cds onto ipod--could someone please explain to me in simple form how to do this.

First download iTunes form the internet (free) Second, put your cd in your computer cd drive. Your computer will ask you if you want to copy to harddrive - say yes. Once you have your CDs on your computer through iTunes you can make a playlist on iTunes by dragging the songs you want into the playlist you create. When you attach your shuffle to your computer it will connect to iTunes and iTunes will instruct you on what to do to load music onto shuffle. At some point you can choose the playlist you created and that music will be installed onto the shuffle. Good luck!
