The price you sold your home for is all you get, no matter what he got for it after. If you think you were cheated, contact the Realtor's Association and file a complaint. You should also contact the Real Estate Board of your state.

I'm confused... He gave you $125 or $125K for your home that's worth $180K? Did you sign any contracts? THEY would delineate what he gets and what you get. If you DID sell your home for that, then there's NOTHING you can do about it. As mentioned, if you think you were cheated, "contact the Realtor's Association and file a complaint. You should also contact the Real Estate Board of your state." If you are still the owner of record, then it sounds like he's doing one of those real estate courses (infomercials). If you were in or entering foreclosure or did not pay your property taxes, you may have signed away a home worth much more for less. (They SAY you can buy homes for "pennies on the dollar".) Again, the contracts you signed should delineate everything. You MAY be stuck. If TAXES were the problem, then most states allow a "window" of time, where the owner can pay the back taxes, and the house is still theirs.
