both are shameful and cowardly, but in a way i almost think that break up by text or email is a bit worse...its almost a form of cyber bullying!

Dump is such a sh*tty word. I think if someone's going to end a relationship, they should have the decency to do it face to face and if that's not possible, then at least speak to them by phone :)

Either method shows a total lack of class and decency and I would have NO respect at all for that person in either case. If they didn't think enough of me to tell me face to face or AT LEAST dial a damned telephone and call me, then to Hell with them !!

The last one is much worse. As bad as the first one is, if you can't at least tell a person why you're breaking up so they can grow and move on as a person, that is a horrible thing to do.

it would be worse to have someone just stop calling etc because even with text dumping, at least you know where you stand?

I'd say text messaging cause sometimes not talking to someone can cause confusion i.e. they may not get the message so you'll have to break up all over a again probably in person (gasp) text messaging all the way!!!

Both are cowardly but I'd say not calling/talking to the person is worse. It's not fair because it prolongs the breakup process and causes more anger and pain.

To just stop calling or texting is worse. It leaves questions unanswered and feelings hurt. I'd much rather have a break up than to have someone ditch me.

stop calling/talking. i haaate when boys do that, but i can't imagine having that happen when i'm legit dating someone! that's terrible

I think just stopping to call is worse than brewaking up via e mail or text at least with thwat you have closure and you know where you stand. When someone just abruptly stops calling you don't know what to make of it. Did their phone break did they lose your number somehow did something happen to them etc.

To stop talking/ calling is the worse bcz the person doesnt know wats going on and plus it means that u couldnt even tell them.
