Where can if find the key code for my 97 ford explorer?

I have a 97 explorer too.. It is inside the cubby where the jack is. Look inside toward the wheel well, there is a plaque with the codes on it. That is the mother code. Only use it to change your personal code. Never give anyone the mother code. To change the personal code, type in the mothercode then hit the 1/2 button.. the next 5 numbers you enter are your personal code. Edit: If you hit the 9 and 7 together it will lock all the doors. If you enter your code then hit 3 it will unlock all the doors.
