Go to any Sally Beauty Supply Store. Buy Ntense Pink -permanant- You dont need to bleach your hair because it has bleaching compounds in it. Its usually used for streaks and highlights. however I used it for my whole hair. I say color bottom to top because it will stiffen. You can go to there website and browse around. http://www.nrage.com/productsroll.html I bought about six boxes ($10.99 per box) of it to get my full hair since i have long hair I could have used two more boxes but I also used one bottle of Manic Panic -semipermanant- after putting Ntense pink to kinda soften my hair and soak in some more pink. I kept it in for about an hour. I wash my hair everyday and it stays the same.

It depends on the shade you are looking for - if its a neon or bright pink shade then only vegetable dyes tend to give these vibrant results. If its a less neon pink the sometimes supermarkets or beauty shops can sell these as permanent colours but they normally not near as pink as the vegetable ones. Some vegetable dyes such as Special Effects Atomic Pink have been known to last for months rather than weeks on some people's hair and there are things you can do to prolong the dye results such as avoiding hot water adn some anti-dandruff style shampoos and rinsing hair in cold water. I have been doing hair for over 20 years. The "punky" colors are not made in permenant form. Special Effects, Fudge, Manic Panic, and others like this can last longer if you make sure you pre-lighten, and don't wash with hot water afterwards. Try this trick: After you get the shade you want with semi-permanent, put a clear gloss seal on it. Almost any salon will do this. They will use Clear Cellophane, Shades eq in clear, or a similar product. You will have to sit under heat after this is applied, for about 20 mins. This will "seal" in the haircolor. Remember, all haircolor fades, but it's all about slowing down the process! Good Luck!
