Is knife crime in the UK out of control and if so, why?

    to right it is, because as soon as the pc brigade stopped you giving them a clip around the ear (like i got) they grow up with no respect. it was unheard of years ago. it goes as far back as that and the cops cant touch them because they've got 'rights'. i thought you had to earn rights, turns out i was wrong

    yeah its way out of control. i dont like going out late by myself its horrible. the teens/kids need something to do and discipline wouldnt go a miss. if my folks found out i was carrying a knife i would of got a smack in the mouth and grounded for ages

    what is the profile of knife murders? are they semi-literate underachievers? do they have no father figures? are they "feral kids"?
    I don't know, but somebody should before we start throwing about solutions based upon what we think we know, but don't. Asking the relatives of victims is ridiculous since this experience does not give them any greater insight or expertise and come out with inane comments about National Service as though giving knife offenders an assault rifle is going to solve anything.(although it worked for Wellington)

    Because there are too many absentee knife-fathers which is the number one contributor to criminal behavior.
