well most likely you will play in the freshman class but not saying that you wont play jv or v but the coaches ins varsity are very uptight about who plays where and how good you know the game. Now i played for the louisville cardinals when stephone laflore played the best qb i have seen in along time, but you want to play rb thats up to you but im going to tell you something. ok lets say that you are an amazing rb got all the records for your team and everything, does your new coach know that, a player does not pick his position the position picks you, have you tried db wr or even qb, i played rb qb db ss and s when i was in high school i couldent play what i wanted to play witch was wr because the coach didnt think i had it in me, but now i thank my coach because i have all of the experiance in all of the different positions i played i know if im on defence and the lineman drop back in a pass block i know tat theare going to pass because i have had experiance in the lineman positon its good to have all of this becauswhen you get to high school it does not matter if you dont play rb you want be so bummed out because you already know what your supposed to do, i hope this help you out thank you.

i think from your physique you could have a shot at the jv team. very rarely have i heard of a freshman making the varsity team. i would sugggest maybe trying to not lose any weeight but transforming the gut into muscle.

i think you might need to work on improving your speed. im 6'1, 215, a sophomore and run a 40 5-4 and the only thing that keeps me from starting (jv) is the 5-4 speed. i only run the ones up the middle. 24 blast, traps, ect. i would like to be starting running back on jv, but my coach prefers me on the line. i do better there, but id like to the run the ball more.
