Not specifically to my knowledge, but it could easily be argued that The Tao - The Way - is Love.

Yes. You may want to see: Chapter 10: Can you love people and lead them? Chapter 13: Love the whole world as if it were your self; then you will truly care for all things. Chapter 44: Because of this, great love extracts a great cost and true wealth requires greater loss. Chapter 72: She loves herself but also loves others. This is how she is able to make appropriate choices. Refer to: http://www.tao-in-you.com/tao-te-ching-translation.html

It depends on the translation. However if you take the time to learn Chinese calligraphy and study the classics yourself I think you'd agree the the answer is no. And rightfully so, can you show me an instance in nature where love motivates any action at all? Love only exists to humans, and only humans seek it, it's an illusion. In fact for most people love equates to person A preforming deeds for person B in the hope of receiving love. As long as person B does the same and neither person is ever sure that they received "love completely the two will be in "love". But if one thinks they got it then the deeds will stop, the relationship will become one sided and fall apart. The Tao Te Ching describes how reality naturally changes the way it manifests itself from the source and so it does not deal in illusion.
