  • I want to say my first car, a 1982 Honda Civic stationwagon, however that is not true even though it spent more time being dragged behind my dad's pickup than it did driving of it's own volition. Nope, it was a 1992 Plymouth Sundance America. Owned it for about 5 months before I joined the Navy, 9 months later when I came home on leave, it threw a rod. That car was a P.O.S.
  • Oh, that lousy For Taurus that I bought about 7 years ago which was only bested by the craptacular Ford Escort that I owned 12 years ago. That car was a joke. Basically every Ford I ever owned was a piece of garbage.
  • It was a 1986 Ford Tempo money-pit-lemon-from-hell.
  • A huge Dodge van, a stretch one. It didn't have many miles on it but it was kind of old and tired. And every single part of a Dodge costs so much top repair, it's insane!
  • A 1981 Dodge Omni.
  • My dad owned an old Buick that was completely rusted on top. I knew he was coming home from a few miles away - LOL!
  • Ford Tempo, death on wheels
  • My old '89 Aerostar. While I managed to coax it to 23.5 MPG, it was nearly impossible to work on. I couldn't remove the front calipers to change the brake pads. Replacing the alternator was an ordeal and a half. I never even saw four of the spark plugs; I think you needed to drop the engine to replace them. The cooling system was atrocious and eventually killed it for reasons not-entirely-known. And it was a large, HEAVY RWD vehicle that had a hard time with my driveway in the winter.
