  • going to my room...i walked past my mom, and we started arguing, she told me to go to my room, that's exactly where i was heading to take a nap.
  • my dad told me to go in the corner (this was standard punishment for my brother and i) while we were doing laundry one day. he told me NOT to leave the corner, but our washing machine empties into a tub, and you have to flip a switch to drain it. so the laundry room flooded and my dad got totally pissed at me, but i told him i couldnt leave the corner, his orders. my version of payback lol
  • i never got in much trouble as a child, but when i did, i recieved brutal humiliation. like once, my mom made this sign that said "I HAVE BEEN BAD. PLEASE IGNORE ME". and i had to wear it around the mall for like 3 hours. brutal.:]
  • me and my mom were fighting at like 11 o'clock at night....i got up and walked inside to go to bed....when i got inside she started calling i answered she told me to go to bed...i was already laying down.
  • what? people get FUNNY punishments? i wish my punishments were funny :| even the funny part in my fam is punishment :'( LOL
  • For me, personally, I can't imagine such a thing as a funny punishment. Punishing makes someone feel scared, diminished, and chastised. I would be so caught up in those feelings that I doubt even the most ludicrous scenario could be rendered comical, whether in the moment or much later on. That's just how I feel about it.
  • I was cheeky in the supermarket and my mother started beating me with the closest thing... A frozen chicken! It hurt as well.
  • One of our high school teachers had strange punishments. If you were late for class or something like that, he would either report you as being tardy and give you detention...or you could pick a punishment from the "Bad Kitty Jar." He had this jar with all these slips of paper in it, and whatever you pulled out was your only chance to avoid the tardy and detention. (Tardies went on your school record and report card, so nobody wanted that.) Anyway, the papers had all kinds of weird things that were kind of embarrassing. One was to stand up in your seat and sing I'm a Little Teapot, with all the actions. One was to run around the room and up and down the hall with your arms out making airplane noises. He used a rubber chicken as a hall pass, and one of the slips said you had to hold the rubber chicken around the neck for the entire class period. (lots of choke the chicken jokes there.) Another was to get down on one knee and recite a love poem to him.(really embarrassing for the guys.) There was also one where you had to go in the hall and ask the first person of the opposite sex that came by to marry you. One of the worst was where you had to open the window, which looked out over a common area, and yell 'I love you' at the first person to walk by. I drew this one and , just my luck, the first person to walk by was the head principal. I did it, he just gave me a weird look and waved. It was slightly embarrassing, but a lot of fun.
  • I got punched by a clown.
  • When my sister and I were late getting home, my Mom spanked us, but we didn't feel it because we had been sitting in a snow fort most of the afternoon. She heard us laughing about it, and spanked us again later.
  • My mom used to punish us by making us be her 'date' when she went square dancing at this bar. (Me and my sister, and we were both around upper grade school and middle school age.) I think Mom just did it because most of the guys who went were old and she didn't want them hitting on here or trying to get her to go home with them afterwards. So we would be stuck sitting at the table listening to the same old music every week. I guess I should just be thankful she didn't make us get up and dance.
  • somebody tryed to wash my mouth out with soap... the string of lyrics i but together after that made them think twice about how effective that method really was!
  • nobody ignored me actually. some girl bought me a slushy. ;]
  • I've always been so bad that my parents eventually got sick of punishing me and just gave up and sent me to an all-boys boarding school - which was more of a punishment for them coz I wasn't the one crying when I left. I was actually excited. But wait... that isn't it. When I was in boarding school, the teachers threatened that if we were disrespectful to any member of the staff, they'd confiscate our clothes and put us in a dress. Me and a few mates thought we'd get it over and done with, and within a few hours we were running around the field with our shirts tied around our waists like skirts. Then we streaked. I glimpsed at the principals face as some teachers tried to catch us, and I saw him red with laughter. We still got privileges taken away and were severely punished but it was so worth it.
