Funny you should ask, I was, literally, journaling about this tonight. It's a lot, but here goes: Words that best describe me: stubborn, introverted, extroverted, a thinker, thoughtful, selfish, stable, co-dependent, giving, competent, organized, disorganized, strong, independent, logical, practical, loyal and structured. However, my favorite word is inspired. People who overcome adversity inspire me and, as cheesy as it sounds, make me want to make the world a better place. “When you are inspired… dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover, yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.” -Patanjali I … …am someone who believes there is more good in the world, than bad. …am scared by Novi (a cookie cutter, suburban city close to me). …love routine with the occasional spontaneous diversion. …love being alone, but hate being lonely. … am getting more weird, smart and mature every year. … am very proud of how far I have come. All of my life obstacles have made me who I am. I take pride knowing that I have made my life, all on my own. …am and will forever ask and wonder, “What’s next?”. I don’t think I’ll ever be satisfied and will always want more from life. …am constantly changing. …believe that everything in life happens for a reason and there are no coincidences. …would love to be free spirited and spontaneously irresponsible. Maybe someday. …think the most important things in life are 1) the relationships you have with yourself and others (my friends are the greatest) and 2) experiences on all levels. …am grateful. Most recent big lesson…stay true to yourself and who you are. Refuse to change for anyone except yourself. Every once in a while I lose my mojo. When I find it, it’s bigger, better, stronger and more fantastic than before. Lastly, at the advice of the late, great, Randy Paush, Be A Tigger and above all, above every single thing, always, always, always….have FUN.
