There's a company in California that is offering to clone people's pet dogs (for a price). How do you feel about company's cloning pets? Would you want to have your pet cloned? Why or why not?

I know there are alot of great dogs that need homes, but I had a very special bond with my dog Chance. Before he passed, if I could have afforded it I would have done it. He was like a child to me, much more than a dog. He brightened my life in every way and I miss him greatly. Babycakes, Jake's picture was added today, he is lying on the grass.

I think it takes away from the love bond between owner and pet. You just grieve for 5 minutes, and then decide to have your pet cloned? How rediculous. It's like the pet was never there. I wouldn't have my pet cloned, i would miss him but i feel that would just be taking grieving too far. That would be like your child or baby passing away, and then deciding you want to have a cloned baby exactly like your dead baby. It's cruel and inhumane.
