You know what keithold? Although I live in a very snowy climate in winter, I have never skied before in my life. I do, however, speedskate whenever I can in winter, and of course I swim all year round. :)

If you mean going down the snow-covered slopes first on my butt, then on my back...then, yes, I've been skiing...once!
Now, then, water skiing I was darn good at.
However, now at 70, I'm more than happy just to wait for everyone to return. They can find me at the bar, where I can watch them all slooshin' 'n sloshin'! :-)

Yes, learned at 40 now 50 I ski and snowboard more every year, was on snow 53 days this last season, I love it can't get enough

I've been twice to Lermoos in Austria, in February one year and in March the other year. In March next year, we're going back, and I love it. If you get a chance, enquire about Sporthotel Loisach in Lermoos, as it is by far and away the finest hotel I have stayed in, and that's saying something considering I go on tow or three holidays per year.
