A person can claim to believe what they like, but that does not tell you the state of their soul. Therefore the answer would have to be no. Why is this question under discrimination? wouldn't it be better under "religions"?
-
of coarse not im not religious at all and i hav met REALLY just flat out mean people who are very religious it just depends on the person
-
If we haven't learned that religion .. especially fanatic religion is not morality given .. we're so f****d!
-
That's strangely worded, but I see what you're driving at. Whether or not a person is "religious" has little or nothing to do with whether they're "moral" or not.
-
Morality is not determined by religion or lack thereof. They are two separate things.
-
One thing is following blindly things what religion says, and other is your self conscious.
-
Yup. True. I think. Unless it's false. Depending on what you meant. Religion doesn't make one more or less moral.
-
what is the frame of reference for defining morality ... myself is Islam and therefore a practicing muslim is more moral than anyone else
-
True..morality has nothing to do with religion :)
-
True. Especially since morality is something defined by an individual, if they bother to define it at all.
-
True, one can be religious and not moral.
-
True. Religion and morals are separate items. My 2 cents.
-
Being religious has nothing to do with being moral. In fact, I tend to see it the opposite way round. Anyone who would follow/endorse some of the things talked about in the OT needs to reevaluate their morals.
