Back in March, I was able to buy a flight ticket from Wichita to Japan for ~$780. Now when I look at any discount ticket site, why can't I find any ticket for the return trip for less than $1800?

one word GAS [the price of the ticket is costing you more because the airlines are passing the sky high gas prices on to us ] Gas stoped trading at $138 a barrel last I saw it was an all time record the guys that do the futures on gas have inflated the cost of a barrel and they see no drop in price in the near future

Was it because it was out of season maybe.
