She definitely helped, especially since she had her own political ambitions and knew that having him as a husband would help her achieve it.

Absolutely he would have; she had little to do with his capturing of the vote... HOWEVER, she will never be president BECAUSE he was at her side during this campaign!

Probably not. She came from a wealthy and well connected family and her career added both resources from her own efforts. Those were vital, I think, to his getting elected governor which, in turn, was absolutely key in his presidential election.

He was a political animal before they met. He would have picked some other like minded person and achieved the same goals.

I don't think Hillary had anything to do with his election. Honestly, I think his appearance on Arsenio Hall is what put him over the top in the polls.

Yes since he's a very powerful person. He's a good speaker and has persuasive ideas. I think though that Hillary would never have become NY Senator or gotten this far in the presidential race if it weren't for Bill. He created the Clinton name and established it strong.
