  • That depends on what you mean by "bacteria." If you mean bacteria in the scientific sense, then the answer is no. Bacteria (scientific meaning, like in biology class) are prokaryotes. Prokayotes do not have a nucleus and therefore do not have chromosomes. Nor do they have (in most cases) membrane-bound organelles.
