If you suspect you or someone else is having a heart attack and want to take/give an asprin, should it be swallowed, chewed, or let to dissolve in your mouth?

  • Breaking it up will probably allow it to enter the system faster. I was told as a younster to take with warm water as well... I don't know if that is an urban myth, but I usually do it.

    Break it up and swallow it with water.
    You want it to be most effective at it's quickest
    if you feel aspirin is the way to help you out.
