He rings my doorbell once in a while in which my mom chased him away before, my bro’s aide did the same, and I’ve just ignored him after awhile by not answering the door. I had a boyfriend at one point and he claimed that I didn’t love the person I was with but that I loved him (false). And I even told him recently that I’ve moved on and he needs to do the same. Yet, the other day he saw me in the Chinese food store with my friend, came in from nowhere and tried to give me a hug and kiss as if he’s my man. I’m beginning to feel like I’m being punked for eternity people. I’ve been upfront with him as well as others around me. I’ve told him I don’t love him and he’s like “stop thattttt”. What’s wrong with him? What should I do? I think he’s becoming obsessed to the point where I now refer to him as the stalker.

Anyone?

Wow. I think that is a tough situation. He is not listening to what you are saying because he just does not want to believe it. If you really feel like he is stalking you maybe you should warn him that you will get a restraining order if he doesnt leave you alone. And if he still doesnt...then get a restraining order.

Although this is a very old post(over 8 months now) perhaps the OP still hasn't found relief from the person. I offer this site for you to look at http://joy2meu.com/Personal_Boundaries.htm and make a set of rules called boundaries, clearly stated, should stop this from being a problem for you.Take an assertive approach and let him know what you think/feel and tell him to end this charade.

get your father to intervene, I've done that for my daughters more than once. After that go to the local precinct with dad or even mom (an older authority figure and swear out a complaint) have him picked up for sexual harrassment and get a restraining order. First time he abuses it have him arrested. A couple nights in lock-up should do it and a fine will affirm it. If I was your dad...I'd better stop there

Wow, how was this question missed? Her profile says she hasn't been on since September. Seriously, you're in college and he been trying to get back with you since jhs? Have a talk with his parents, put it in writing that you want him to leave you alone. If he keeps it up still, then I would call 311 and see what your options are from there. It sounds creepy, you'll probably have to involve the police soon.
