Why does Celine Dion seem to be 'put down' a lot by people; especially teens? Afterall, she does have an undeniably good voice, and good values (compare her to Britney). Why the snobbish remarks about Celine?

Céline Dion is a very talented artist. I am not so much a fan of her music in English, although her French stuff is very good, and well worth listening to. But she is seen as being pretentious and phony, which may be true, leading to people putting her down.

She does have a special undeniable voice......She stands miles above Britney but for some reason people view her as a goody 2 shoes..........

She seems to be very unsure of her own beliefs and it shows during interviews.I do like her singing tho.I think once you are in the eye of the public you can do no right!

She does have an absolutely fabulous voice. I think, to a lot of people, she sometimes comes across as pretentious over-the-top.

I don't know I just don't think people can be satisfied. I guess they think since she has an amazing voice there must be something wrong with her. i'm sick of all the jokes though lol
